Simone De Winter M.A. - Certified Ayurvedic Specialist, C.Y.T., C.M.T

Simone has studied and practiced ancient Indian healing practices for fifteen years. She is a graduate from the California College of Ayurveda, a certified yoga teacher, and a certified massage therapist. Her training includes panchakarma (cleansing) therapy, Ayurvedic massage and rejuvenation therapies, pulse assessment and herbology.

In her Ayurveda practice she brings these disciplines together, using ancient Eastern wisdom to address the imbalances of modern-day Western life. She holds a masters degree in International Relations, after which she shifted her interest from healing communities to healing individuals.

Simone teaches ‘Ayurvedic Rejuvenation Therapies’ trainings and different Ayurvedic classes, amongst which her popular ‘Ayurvedic Cooking’ series, and Ayurvedic yoga. She also teaches in the long distance learning program from the California College of Ayurveda. Currently she is developing a line of body oils using aromatherapy and the theory of Ayurveda.

Simone pays close, loving attention to each of her clients. Her caring and compassion are intrinsic to the healing power of her work. Originally from the Netherlands, Simone lives in Marin County, California, with her partner and two delightful teenage children.

Simone is happy to participate in the Common Well Holistic Care Center. She is offering 20 min. consultations and massage sessions for $20. It might be necessary to come for repeated sessions, to work on deeper and more chronic issues.
